Yvonne M. Robertson

Yvonne Marie Robertson, age 56, of Bridgeville, Delaware died peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Accent Care in Wilmington Hospital/Christiana Care in Wilmington, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 3, 1967, daughter of the late Theodore Robertson and Lucille (Rossi) Pepe.

Yvonne graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1988. In her younger years she enjoyed lifeguarding on Lewes Beach and was employed at Hockers Manufacturing Company. She loved being on the beach and spending time with her family and friends, sharing her humor with everyone, and making precious memories. She absolutely loved to make everyone laugh.

Yvonne was predeceased in death by her mother, Lucille Rossi Pepe, father Theodore Robertson, fiancé Roy Boehmer and many loved ones in recent years who were so dear to her. She is survived by her loving daughters Dawn Marie Robertson and Lucy Marie McCue (Shawn), two grandchildren, Logan & Hallie Freeney, sister Yvette Perdue (Wade), brother Theodore Robertson (Cindy), nieces Cassidy, Branda, Katelyn, Bayleigh & Bethany and many cousins, family and special friends who meant so much to her. She realized at the end of her illness how loved she was by all. She was so thankful for her sister-in-law, Cindy Robertson, who was there for her during many difficult times. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Shorts Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE, where friends may call beginning at 5:00 p.m. with a service to follow at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private.
