Wright Harvey Parker

Wright Harvey Parker, 79, of Lincoln Delaware, passed away on June 14, 2025, at Bayhealth Hospital in Milford, Delaware.

Born on June 4, 1946, in Orange, New Jersey, Wright was the son of the late Harold W. Parker and Mary (Riggs) Parker.

At a young age, Wright exemplified a spirit of adventure and leadership, proudly participating in the Boy Scouts. This formative experience shaped his character, leading him to achieve the rank of an Eagle Scout. In adulthood, Wright continued to give back to his community as a leader in local organizations. He served as the past president of the Milford Rotary Club.

Wright proudly owned his own business, "Wright Parker General Contracting," for over 40 years, earning a reputation for his hard work, integrity, and commitment to quality craftsmanship. He also found joy in travel and adventure, especially enjoying unforgettable cruises that allowed him to explore new horizons and create lasting memories in places like Europe and Spain.

Wright is survived by his wife, Ellen (Bohannon) Parker; his children and step-children, Allison Marie Parker, Jeremy Wilkinson (Candice), April Wilkinson, Travis Wilkinson, and Emily Johnson (Dondrill, aka DJ); 2 God-daughters, Melanie Donaway (Ike), and Christina Thomas (Bob); grandchildren, MaKynlee, Kacie, Xavier, Adeline, Zyler, Dakota, Alani, Kinly, and Jace; siblings, Audrey Parker-Baltheser (Earl), and Bob Parker (Magi); and niece, Robynn Phalsgraff.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm, on Monday, June 23, 2025, at Christian Tabernacle, 18940 Johnson Road, Lincoln, Delaware. A time of visitation for family and friends will precede the service from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Wright will be laid to rest at Lincoln Cemetery in Lincoln, Delaware.
