In loving memory of William E. Wilson, IV, JD, fourth great grandson of Civil War Union veteran Camillus R. (aka William B. Wilson), William E. Wilson, III, (Baltimore), Wiliam E. Wilson IV, (Gloucester, Virginia, and Baltimore), and son of Camillus R. Wilson and Ruth M. Wilson of Baltimore Maryland and Glen Burnie Maryland.
Born in Baltimore Maryland in 1957, Bill (he shared the "nick-name" "Mill" with his father), lived a life committed to his family, the voiceless and ill-served in the community and his love of his craft hobbies.
Bill attended several schools in Baltimore, and graduated from Baltimore City College HS in 1972. He later joined the U.S. Army at the close of the Viet Nam war. He served with several combat units stationed in Fort Bliss, Texas, and Gehlhausen, Germany. His roles included heavy tank support and flying aircraft support. He loved serving as a helicopter crew chief.
While in the military, Bill studied education at the University of Maryland European Division, Germany. After successful completion of his U.S. military service, he enrolled and completed degrees at two American Universities, the University of Maryland Baltimore County and the Washington DC Catholic University School of Law.
Bill's religious foundation, along with the values adopted from the military, assisted him in navigating at times, hostile work environments for employees. Bill's principal focus throughout his professional career was to assist those employees who suffered from disabilities, or were subject to unlawful discrimination. He was successful in many of those efforts. Bill served as Equal Employment Opportunity and Legal Compliance Officer for Maryland's Montgomery College for over 20 years. He performed similar duties for Maryland State Government with various agencies.
Bill's religious beliefs are strong, though not tied to a particular denomination. There is one God who is the Alpha and Omega. He is also the Lord Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit.
Bill is survived by his wife Margaret C. Wilson, his loving partner and supporter for over 23 years. He is also survived by his children, William E. Wilson V and Justin A. Wilson, Alexis
A. Wilson and Tyrease N. Wilson. He is also survived by his brother Bryan Wilson, and sister Wanda Wilson -Adams and her husband Larry. Additional family members include, Barbara Yarbro and family, Bernice and Micheal Reid and family, Earl and Mark Yarbro and family, Erica Yarbro and family. Also Myrna Fay Porter - Wilson, the mother of William and Justin Wilson.
Other family include: Toniette Canami, Nicole Balzarini, Sabrina Carreon and her husband Steven, Michaela Olson, Chris and LaShay Queen , Kendrew and Shawn Queen, Canden Queen, and Kabrina and Malik Treadwell, Noel Watkins and her husband Travis.
In retirement Bill's hobbies included the follow:
