William G. Gilbert, 93, of Greenwood, Delaware, a devoted Jehovah's Witness, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Born on December 17, 1932, William was the youngest of four children of the late Percy G. and Ruth (Ridgway) Gilbert.

His parents, Percy G. Gilbert and Ruth Gilbert, his sister Bernice A. (Gilbert) Rothermel, and two brothers Percy R. Gilbert and Benton C.F. Gilbert preceded him in death. He is survived by a niece and nephews.
