Vickie Lynn McCole, a devoted nurse for 28+ years at Genesis Healthcare in Milford, Delaware, passed away on September 2, 2025, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus in Milford surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 15, 1956, she was a lifetime resident of Delaware.

Vickie loved her granddaughters deeply. She especially cherished watching her youngest granddaughter, Kaisley, grow, play, dance, sing, and share all her little antics. Kaisley and her Mimi shared a special bond and were truly inseparable. She was also known for her love of Halloween and horror films, embracing the festive spirit particularly during Christmas with elaborate decorations. Her artistic flair was evident in her hobbies, which included drawing, arts and crafts, and an appreciation for hummingbirds. She cherished her weekly shopping trips with her best friend Maureen Maxson, often starting their day with breakfast at Westside Diner.

She is survived by her son Jonathan McCole and his wife Priscilla, granddaughters Kiara and Kaisley, her sisters Lisa Spence (Tommy), and Lorraine, nieces Paige Smith (Mike) and Taylor Spence, and great nephews Declan Smith and Lennon Spence. Vickie was affectionately called "Mimi" by her granddaughters and nieces.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Peggy (Donovan) Beebe, her older sister Sherry and her life partner, Courtland Ray Rash. She will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held: date to be announced.
