IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas E.
Webb
March 6, 1947 – February 16, 2026
Celebration of Life
Harrington Moose Lodge #534
Starts at 1:00 pm (Eastern time)
Thomas E. Webb, lovingly known to all as "Tubby," passed peacefully into Heaven on February 16, 2026.
He was born on March 6, 1947, in Milford, Delaware. He attended Milford School, where he was a proud member of FFA, graduating in 1965. From an early age, he developed a deep love for the land and the farming way of life that would remain with him throughout his life.
He proudly served his country in the Army National Guard, remaining close to home and the family he cherished. He devoted himself fully to farming on the family's Century Farm, working side by side with his father, Thomas P. Webb, in the family business, F.A. Webb and Son.
In June of 1972, he married the love of his life, Aileen Reynolds. Together they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family, and were blessed with two sons, Thomas "Tommy" E. Webb Jr. and Stephen M. Webb.
Tubby proudly produced poultry, grain, and vegetables, but farming was never just a job—it was his passion. He took great pride in his work and in caring for the land. He was a lifetime member of the South Bowers Volunteer Fire Company and a faithful member of Sardis United Methodist Church. He found great joy in restoring and collecting pedal tractors, reflecting his lifelong love of agriculture and its history. He treasured his time in sunny Florida and especially valued the moments spent laughing, visiting, and making memories with friends and loved ones.
Tubby was reunited in Heaven with his parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Webb, and his beloved eldest son, Thomas E. Webb Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Aileen; his son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Morgan; and the light of his life, his cherished granddaughter Rory, who brought him endless pride and happiness. He is also survived by his sisters, JoAnn Davis and Aileen (Barry) Maloney; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved cat, Davidson.
Tubby will be remembered for his steady presence, his strong work ethic, his unforgettable smile, and his deep roots in the farming community. His legacy lives on in the land he cared for, the family he loved, and the many lives he touched.
Donations in Tubby's memory may be made to Sardis United Methodist Church, in care of JoAnn Davis. 228 Cicada Lane, Milford, DE 19963.
Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, March 161 2026, at 1pm at the Harrington Moose Lodge #534, 16268 S. Dupont Hwy. Harrington, DE 19952.
