Thomas A. Short died at home in Florida on October 9, 2025.

He was predeceased by his parents Carlton and Peggy Short. He is survived by his sister Nancy Short; his children Kimberly Short Norman, Jennifer Short, and Michael Short; 3 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Short Funeral Services in Georgetown at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 17th, and interment will follow at the Veterans' Cemetery in Millsboro.
