Sharon Marie Faulkner, 68, of Stuart FL passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026.

 Born on October 5, 1957, Sharon lived a life marked by dedication to her family, career, and community. Sharon pursued her education at Perry Hall High School and Essex Community College before earning degrees from the University of Texas at San Antonio and St. Mary’s School of Law. She devoted much of her professional life to nursing at Johns Hopkins, where she made a meaningful impact through her compassionate care. 

After retiring from her nursing career, Sharon continued to give back by volunteering with various organizations and her church. A woman of many interests, Sharon found joy in gardening, traveling, reading, and spending time with her beloved grandchildren. Her faith was an integral part of her life, and she was an active member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Stuart. 

Sharon is survived by her mother, Janice E. Faulkner; brothers Tom Faulkner, Steve Faulkner, and Mike Faulkner; daughters Elizabeth Poe and Teresa Anderson Farrell; and six cherished grandchildren: Chance Farrell, Charm Farrell, Alexa Poe, Breanna Poe, Caliyah Farrell, and Cash Farrell. 

She was predeceased by her father, James Faulkner.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on May 20, 2026, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Stuart, Florida.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Heartfelt Dreams Foundation in Sharon’s memory. 

Her legacy of love and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those she leaves behind.
