Ronald Lewis Millman, born on August 25, 1948, in Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2025, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, DE. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and sibling whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and a love for family and life.
Ronald served as a heavy equipment operator at Glatfelter Pulpwood, where he was known for his competence and commitment to his craft. Beyond his professional achievements, he had a passion for collecting John Deere memorabilia and enjoyed attending tractor shows, particularly with his friend Fred Clendaniel. His love for nature was evident in his gardening endeavors, and he cherished traveling with his late wife, Cordelia “Dee” (Lord) Millman.
He leaves behind a grieving family that will remember him fondly. Ronald is survived by his daughters: Debra Watson, Denise Collison (Patrick Phillippi), and Susan Voss (Danny). His siblings; Norman "Tick" Millman, Bob Millman, Danny Millman (Darlene), and Shirley Taylor will also hold his memory dear. He was a doting grandfather to Jessica Adams, Lauren Mixon (Dustin), DJ Voss, Heather Phillippi, Zach Phillippi (Sharon), and had several great-grandchildren including Tatelyn, Logan, Hayden, Landon, Aubree, Cole, Madison, and several great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family who will deeply miss him.
Ronald was preceded in death by his devoted wife Cordelia "Dee", his parents Joseph W. and Mabel (Willey) Millman, and siblings Helen Wilson, Joe Millman, Harry Millman, and Mildred Short. He also mourned the loss of his son-in-law Keith Watson and granddaughter Jena Watson.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the viewing at Berry-Short Funeral Home in Milford on November 20, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service starting at 1:00 PM. Interment will take place at Lincoln Cemetery at 2:00 PM, where Ronald will be laid to rest.
Ronald Lewis Millman will be remembered for his strong work ethic, love for his family, and the joy he brought to those around him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
