Ronald D. Benton, 41, of Milford, passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, James Keene; half-brother, Robert Hobbs; grandfather, Walter Benton Sr.; and step-grandfather, David Peterson. He is survived by his mother, Helena (Frederick) Coppock; his father, David (Yvonne) Hobbs; children, Hannah Noel Benton, Kaylie Rayne Benton, Rylee Benton; grandmother, Harriett Benton; brother, Jeffery Keene; half-sisters, Jennifer Hobbs, and Kelly Modinger; step-sister, Kimberley Eanes; and his aunt, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 2 pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 12 noon. Burial will be private.
