Jim Frost, 78, passed away peacefully at Bay Health Sussex Campus on November 3, 2025.

A passionate lover of sailing, Jim found solace and freedom on the waters of Palm Island. He delighted in the thrill of driving convertibles, reminiscent of adventures taken under the sun. Alongside his beloved wife, Cindy, he explored the globe, creating countless memories filled with wonder and excitement. Jim's laughter echoed around the poker table and in the board games he cherished with friends, while family gatherings brought him the purest joy. Summers in Milton, Delaware were alive with laughter, while winters wrapped him in warmth in sunny Saint Petersburg, Florida.

Jim's spirit lives on through his devoted wife, Cindy, and their daughter, Julie Hammers, who resides in Springfield, Illinois. He leaves behind a son, Justin (Mandy) Schultheiss of New Baltimore, Michigan, and daughter Shelly (Zach) Blair from State College, Pennsylvania. Jim was blessed with grandchildren who adored him: Ted, Alex, Margot, Katherine, Audrey, Chase, Lyla, Grace, Ayla, and Hallie, as well as great-grandchildren Greta, Lottie, Estelle, and Lillian. He is also survived by his sister, Sue Rake, of Springfield, Illinois, who shared in the joy of family moments.

In honoring Jim’s memory, private services will be held with his family, providing a space for love and remembrance. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, reflecting Jim's compassionate spirit.

Though Jim will be deeply missed, his memory will forever be etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life was a beautiful journey, and his legacy of love will guide us all.
