Robert “Bob” Wilson Goodrick, of Milford, Delaware, passed away on October 7, 2026, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born on May 26, 1949, in Milford, Delaware.

Bob devoted 28 years of his working life to the State of Delaware, where he was employed as a lab tech inspector. He will also be remembered for the personal qualities that made him enjoyable to know, especially his comical nature and dry sense of humor. In quieter moments, he enjoyed computer games such as Solitaire.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Portia J. Goodrick, who died on January 20, 2024; by his father, Wilson Dodge Goodrick; by his mother, Kathryn Davis Goodrick; and by his sister, Mina Wells.

Bob is survived by his brother, Richard Goodrick; his sister-in-law, Sharon Goodrick; and his nephew, Randy Sharp. They, along with others who knew and loved him, will remember him with affection and gratitude for the laughter, steady presence, and personality he brought into their lives.

Bob’s life was rooted in the community where he was born and where his life came to a close. He will be remembered with love and missed by his family and friends.
