Piera Pirrone

Piera Pirrone, 90, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

Piera was born in Sicily, Italy to the late Agnese (Valreni) and Giuseppe Olinda. She was a self-employed seamstress, who enjoyed flowers, gardening, spending time outside, and with her family. She loved God and reading her Bible.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Rosario Pirrone; and 3 sisters, Maria, Vicenza, and Giuseppina.

She is survived by her sister, Antonina Olinda; daughters, Rose Smith, Agnes Boothman (Gregory), and Daniela Marchione (John); grandchildren, Jonathan Boothman (Brittney), Kayla Fenton, Breana Boothman, Alissa Marchione, Sarah Boothman, and Claudia Marchione; and 2 great-grandchildren, Christian Fenton-Edne and Luna Boothman.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September, 22, 2022 at 1 pm in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, DE 19963, where friends may call after 12 noon.
