Phillips F. Weyl Jr.

Phillips "Phil" F. Weyl, Jr. of Milford, DE, left this earth unexpectedly for his place in heaven on August 22, 2026, with his family by his side.

Phil was born on July 26, 1953 to Phillips Weyl Sr. and Margaret Weyl, both preceding him in death. Phil is survived by his loving wife, Karen Kurtz Weyl, of 24 years, daughter Megan Sautter (Robert Sautter), son Adam Weyl (Leann Weyl), grandsons Mason and Owen Weyl, brother Robert Weyl, brother Jeffrey Weyl (Karen), nephews Kevin Weyl (Krista Sund), Brian Weyl (Katie), as well as his beloved four-legged felines Houdini, Mitchel and Hopie.

Prior to retiring, Phil worked at Hercules Manufacturing, Middletown, DE and Napa Auto Parts, New Castle, DE. Perhaps one of his greatest accomplishments was having the first baby girl in the family in 78 years. Phil enjoyed a life of traveling and RVing throughout the country and Canada with his favorites being Alaska and Western Canada.

He enjoyed NASCAR racing, surf fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 2, at 3:30 pm at Calvary Church in Milford, Delaware at 301 S E Front St, Milford, DE 19963.

A time of visitation will begin the same day at 3:00 pm.
