GEORGETOWN – Patricia “Patsy” Bryan, previously known as Patsy Elliott and Patsy King, of Georgetown and Seaford, Delaware, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born December 6, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda Elliott and the youngest of seven children, all of whom preceded her in death. Known affectionately by her self-given nickname, “Trouble,” Patsy was well known for her humor, candor, and strong personality.
Patsy was formerly married to the late Wayne King and later to the late Norris Bryan. She served for many years as secretary of the American Legion Unit 8 Auxiliary in Georgetown, was formerly employed at Rust Jewelry Store, operated a daycare, worked in school food service, and enjoyed caring for and working with children. She remained active in keeping in touch with family, friends, former classmates, and coworkers, attended church, and especially loved cooking and decorating for Christmas, including her treasured train and village display.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Campbell-King and his husband Steve, and Chris King and his wife Kathy; her grandchildren, Amanda (Mike) and Kyle; several nieces and nephews; her close friend Sylvester Bunting; and many friends.

The family extends sincere thanks to the teams at Beebe Healthcare South Coastal Cancer Center in Frankford and Meadowcrest at Middletown Assisted Living for their care and kindness.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, January 2, 2026, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, Del., where a time of visitation will begin at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Georgetown, Delaware.
