Patricia A. Biddle

Dec 13, 1941 — Aug 24, 2026

Milford, Delaware

Patricia Ann Biddle, 84, of Milford, passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer on 8/24/26 surrounded by her family and granddog, Preston.

Born on December 13, 1941, in Milford, Pat was the beloved daughter of Gladys Fitzgerald Berwick and James Berwick. Throughout her life, Pat was known for her kindness, generosity, and sense of humor. She brought warmth and joy to the lives of everyone who knew her.

Pat spent much of her life working in insurance and took great pride in her career. She worked for several agencies over the years, including Shockley Insurance, AAA Insurance, Wilgus Insurance, and Williams Insurance Agency, from which she retired a few years ago. Outside of work, she enjoyed the beach, line dancing, boating, bowling, golf, and traveling with her husband to see her son where he lives in Kauai, Hawaii. She also traveled to Puerto Rico, and Costa Rica when her son lived there. Pat and her son even took a road trip driving across the country together. She enjoyed camping and traveling to North Myrtle Beach with her husband, daughter, and granddog. Most recently, she was on a bowling league at Milford Bowling Lanes with her husband and daughter. She could be found there every Friday and Tuesday evening bowling better than her daughter. She especially treasured time spent with family. She grew up in Lincoln and enjoyed her summers at Slaughter Beach, where she was an avid water skier.

Pat is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Biddle, daughter, Kim Biddle Ford, son, Bobby Biddle, her bonus granddaughter, Miranda Schmidt, and her daily companion and granddog, Preston, brother, Richard Berwick and his wife Pat, and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers: James Berwick, Walter Berwick, Eddie Berwick and Ronnie Berwick.

In accordance with her wishes, no formal service will be held.

Pat will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered for her kindness and love for her family.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care given to Pat by her Oncologist, Dr. Stephen Peeke, and the nurses and Doctor during her short stay at Delaware Hospice.

Instead of sending flowers, please plant a tree or mum in her honor. She always loved yellow mums.
