Nancy Christiansen Scott passed away peacefully at Tidal Health Nanticoke Hospital in Seaford, Delaware, on July 21, 2026.

Born in Lewes, Delaware, Nancy was the daughter of the late Sigurd E. Christiansen and the late Nancy B. Pusey. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Michelle Erskine.

Nancy graduated from Georgetown High School in 1964. She spent many years as a school bus driver for Indian River School District, where she safely transported many children to and from school.

Nancy loved cooking for family and friends, shopping on Amazon, enjoying Chick-fil-A, and spending time sitting outside on the patio talking with the people she loved. Whether sharing a meal, a conversation, or simply enjoying the fresh air, Nancy treasured life's simple moments and the relationships that meant so much to her.

Nancy is survived by her son, Lance Scott; her sister, Melissa Holston; her granddaughters, Lindsey Scott, Logan Hudson, and Bailey Erskine; her great-grandchildren; and many special friends and extended family members.

She will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered for her spunky personality, the funny stories she loved to share, and the laughter she brought to all around her.

A service will be held at the Columbarium at Union Cemetery in Georgetown, Delaware, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
