Michael A. Evick

HARBESON - Michael A. Evick, passed away peacefully at home on June 30th, 2021. Mike worked every day of his life to provide for his family and would help anyone at any time. He loved his grandchildren and attending all of their sporting events over the years. He also enjoyed spending time with his wife at the waters edge, beating on his drums, and following his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. Mike was born in Philadelphia in the U.S. Naval hospital and grew up in Wilmington, graduating from William Penn High School. He is preceded in death by his father, Pete C. Evick, mother, Ima A. Evick, and brother, Jeffery Evick. Mike is survived by his wife Vicki, with which he was together for 52 years, married 47 of those great years. He is also survived by his sons: Christopher (Holly) Evick, Michael (Dawn) Evick, Ben (Carrie) Evick, 8 grandchildren: Taylor, Zachary, Katelyn, Brogan, Brynn, Shelby, Madison & Lindsey; and siblings: Richard (Leslie), Robert (Robin), Pete (Tina), Frank, and Denise. A private celebration of life by family will be determined at a later date.
