Melvina Dukes
December 23, 1923 — February 14, 2023
Melvina Dukes, 99, of Lincoln, DE, passed away peacefully on February 14, 2023 at the Country Rest Home, Greenwood, DE.
She was a member of the Heritage Bible Baptist Church and worked at Cooper and Smith Sewing Factory.
Melvina is survived by her stepchildren; Glenn Michael Dukes (Margaret), Gail Dukes Seckora and Barbara Brittingham. She also survived by her five grandchildren; Carl, Mark, Shane, Tonya, and Tamala.
Visitation will held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 and will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 N.W. Front Street, Milford, DE. Interment will be at the Laurel Hill Cemetery, Laurel, DE.
