Mary Elizabeth “Mary Beth” Webb, 75, of Milford, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2026.
Born on October 21, 1950, in Milford, Mary Beth was a daughter of the late James and Loretta Holleger. A lifelong resident of the Milford area, she spent many years caring for others and working hard to provide for her family.
Mary Beth worked for Safeway for 23 years before retiring. She was a talented cook and baker who enjoyed trying new recipes, collecting cookbooks, and especially making cakes. She had a special love for animals and cherished the pets who became such an important part of her family.
Mary Beth was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her children, Sherri Moreau and Robert May. Jr. (Misty); her sisters, Trisha Watkins, Carol Taylor, Valerie Smith, and April Yeager; her brother, Gerald Holleger; her grandchildren, Katie Brown, Brandi Saenz, Logan Moreau, Nicole Minner (Josh), Robert “Bobby” May (Jeanette), and Shania May; her 17 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren ; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She also leaves behind her dear best friends, Margaret "Peggy" Peters and Chris Holleger, who held a special place in her heart.
In addition to her parents, Mary Beth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis M. Webb; son-in-law Marc Moreau; brother James W. Holleger; and fur babies Bella, Buddy, and Hershey.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 10AM at Milford Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to The National Kidney Foundation- by mail: Attn: Gift Processing, National Kidney Foundation HQ, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016; or online at the link below.
