Mary Anne Domeratzki, née Bulskis, passed away on April 9, 2026, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus. Born on July 20, 1943, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Mary led a life marked by dedication to her family, community, and career.
Mary began her professional journey as a bank teller at Chase in Rochester, Michigan. Following her relocation from Michigan to Delaware, she became a cherished resident of Delaware for 21 years. A member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Shelby Township, Michigan, she remained committed to her faith throughout her life.
Beyond her professional contributions and spiritual commitments, Mary was known for her love of bingo and the joy she found in her role as "Granny" to her many grandchildren. Her warmth and affection enriched the lives of those closest to her.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Domeratzki, Christine Domeratzki, Terri Domeratzki, and Susan Domeratzki; sisters Eileen Fowler and Margaret Depre; grandchildren Jon, Timothy, Rebecca, Emma, and Antonio; and great-grandchildren CJ, Isabella, Isaac, Lyra, Mia, and Charli. Their lives stand as a testament to Mary's enduring love and legacy.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved parents Edward and Margaret (McCormick) Bulskis, her husband Alexander Domeratzki, and her sister Emily Montgomery.
A viewing to honor Mary’s life will be held on April 13, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Berry-Short Funeral Home,119 NW Front St, Milford, Delaware 19963.
Services are in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home in Milford, Delaware. Online condolences may be shared to the family at: www.shortfuneralservicesandcremation.com. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Mary's honor.
