Her unwavering commitment to her beliefs led her to actively participate in the Keenagers Ministry, a cherished endeavor that served the senior citizens of her community. She found joy in sharing her faith and companionship with others, leaving an indelible mark on those she touched.
Loretta's profound love for her family was evident in everything she did. As a devoted employee, she balanced her work life with her role as a nurturing mother and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
She is survived by her loving son, Michael Schlitter (and his wife Kathy), and her cherished siblings, Franklin Reed (and his wife Clara) and Helen Reed Walls. Loretta’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Ashley Webb and her husband John, along with their children Clover and Drake; Matthew Schlitter and his wife Erica, together with their children Simon and Charlotte; and Michael Schlitter Jr. and his wife Nyrel, who have graced her life with Finn and Piper. Loretta was also blessed with many nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. Each of these relationships brought her immense joy and fulfillment, a testament to her nurturing spirit.
In addition to her rich family ties, Loretta was also a passionate bowler, finding joy and camaraderie in the sport that brought her friends and memories to cherish. She was a proud member of the Milton American Legion Post, where she contributed her time and effort to her community, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and dedication.
Loretta is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Anthony J. Schlitter, who undoubtedly welcomed her with open arms. Though their time together was a gift, it became one of the many cherished stories she passed down to her loved ones. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Lilian and Barbara.
