Julie’s love for her family will continue to be felt in the lives of those she leaves behind.

Julie Holston, born Julie Quesada, passed away on October 2, 2026, in Wilmington, Delaware. She was born on March 14, 1977, in Seaford, Delaware. She will be remembered with love by those who knew her and by the family she held close throughout her life.

Julie was a Christian, and her faith was an important part of who she was. Her favorite hymn was “It Is Well with My Soul,” a song that reflected the comfort and peace she cherished. She loved music, especially the Gaithers, and found joy in the songs that meant so much to her. She also loved animals, especially dogs. Among the simple pleasures she enjoyed were fishing and spending time with her father, moments that surely brought her happiness and lasting memories.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Holston, Ashley Holston, Trey Holston and his wife Ellie, Howard William Bowman V, Jessie Bowman, and Lucas Bowman. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Charlotte Holston, Gabriella Holston, and Liam Bowman; as well as her sisters, formerly Kathie Quesada, Ann Marie Quesada, and Nancy Quesada. Julie’s love for her family will continue to be felt in the lives of those she leaves behind, and her memory will remain a lasting part of their hearts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Stephen Quesada, and her mother, Donna Murphy.

Julie will be remembered for her faith, her love of music and animals, and the care she gave to her family. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

A time of visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026 from 12:00pm-1:00pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St. Georgetown, DE 19947. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
