Joanne Lynne DiLonardo, a beloved wife, mother, and cherished friend, peacefully went home to be with her Lord at her home in Felton on May 4, 2025, at the age of 63. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, on January 18, 1962, Joanne was known for her diligent work ethic and her ability to tackle any challenge with determination.
Joanne’s greatest joy was her family. She devoted her life to raising and homeschooling her five children. She held a deep love for each of them and took immense joy in their accomplishments.
Joanne was married to her loving husband, Victor DiLonardo, for 38 wonderful years. Their partnership was a testament to love and commitment, reflecting the warmth and strength of their bond. She is also survived by her mother, Debra J. Bowen, her children Joshua and Christina DiLonardo, Jacob and Sydney DiLonardo, Hannah and Eddy Connatser, and Benjamin DiLonardo, and Jeremiah DiLonardo, her brothers, Michael Bowen and Daniel Bowen, grandchildren, Morgan DiLonardo and Willy Connatser.
Joanne’s passions extended beyond her family. She had a profound love for the Lord, which inspired her artistic endeavors as she painted themes reminding her of her Savior. She found tranquility in nature and enjoyed camping, the outdoors, and spending time at the beach.
She is preceded in death by her father, Lester R. Bowen, and her sister, Sheri Ann Bowen, both of whom she loved deeply and remembered fondly.
Joanne's memory will continue to shine brightly through her family and friends as they carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and dedication. Her spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
A memorial service to remember and celebrate the life of Joanne DiLonardo will be held on May 17, 2025 at 10:00 am in the chapel of Refuge Christian Fellowship Church at 12629 Ridgely Rd, Greensboro, MD 21639.
