She was a lifetime member of the Houston United Methodist Church, embodying the values of kindness and selflessness that defined her character. Known for her heart of gold, Jane was beloved by all who knew her, leaving a lasting impact on friends and family alike.

In her leisure time, Jane cherished moments spent with her daughter, Rhonda Owens, and her fiancé, Brett Cooper. She found enjoyment in visiting Harrington Casino with loved ones, gardening, and taking pride in her home and yard. Watching TV, particularly QVC, also brought her great pleasure, adding to the warmth of her everyday life.

Jane was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, James Ward, Jr., who passed away in 2021, as well as her parents, William and Phyllis (Armour) Minner. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda, and her cherished dog, Ginger.

Jane's burial service will be held on December 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Milford Community Cemetery, located on North Dupont Boulevard in Milford, Delaware. Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate her remarkable life and the treasured memories she created. Jane Marie Ward will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives she touched.
