A proud Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, Henry served with honor in Delta Company, 7th Marines, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Division. His love for his country was matched only by his commitment to his family, with whom he enjoyed spending countless hours. In his professional life, Henry made significant contributions as an auditor for the Department of Energy embodying integrity and diligence in all his endeavors.

He was a graduate of Delaware State University, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Henry's dedication to education and friendship was also shown as he was recognized as the Class Historian at Harrington High School, a testament to his vibrant personality and engagement in his community.

Henry had a passion for creating memories, cherishing moments spent making photo albums and home movies of his children and grandchildren. His love for collecting movies also served as a way to bring together family and friends through shared entertainment and laughter. He was known for his selflessness and thoughtfulness, maintaining close contact with his relatives and friends, often sending and receiving handwritten Christmas cards that delighted everyone who received them.

Henry is survived by his son, Henry Charles Minner IV; daughter-in-law, Jessica Minner; sons, Chase Minner and Austin Minner; daughter, Amanda Magnolia; son-in-law, JJ Magnolia; daughter, Sarah Minner; and daughter, Aubrey Minner. He found joy in the laughter and love of his beloved grandchildren: Henry Charles Minner V, Kennedy Magnolia, Jaden Magnolia, and August Heinrich.

His family also includes his former wife, Peggy Minner; sister, Marilyn Dernberger; and nephew, William Dernberger. He was predeceased by his mother, Madeline C. Minner; father, Henry Charles Minner Jr.; and daughter, Melissa Minner.

Henry Charles Minner III's legacy is one of love, humor, and a profound impact on all who were fortunate enough to have known him. Although his passing brings deep sorrow, it is met with gratitude for the remarkable life he lived and the cherished memories he leaves behind.
