Gary Marvin Messick

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Gary Marvin Messick I, of Milford. He passed away on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025, at the age of 68. 

He was a past student of the Milford school district and while in school he played several different sports. His work included carpentry, painting, construction, and welding, and much more. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He loved playing frisbee with his sons, going for bike rides, finding seashells on the beach,  walks, tanning, gardening, going to the gym, and watching football. He loved his Minnesota Vikings. He also loved fishing, hunting, and trapping. 

Gary is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Messick, and brothers Danny Messick, and Bobby Messick. He is survived by his three sons, Gary Messick II, Greg Messick (Crystal) Messick, Phillip Messick (Ashley) Messick, Grandchildren, Kendra, Callie, D.W, Connor, Bentley, Miles, Remi, Elias, and Lettie. His mother Norma Messick, brothers, Marty Messick (Robin) Messick, Ricky Messick, Randy Messick (Carol) Messick, Joann Havelow (Richard) Havelow and Lisa Jenkins (Ron) Jenkins, as well as nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, and other family members.
