Frank Richard Tallent Sr.

Frank Tallent Sr., 80, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2026 surrounded by his family and friends. A loving and giving father to Frank Tallent Jr., Tanya Schnell (David); his three grandsons, Frank Tallent (Kristina), Robert Schnell, Nathan Schnell (Carissa); two great-grandsons, Brendan and Dylan Tallent; brother, Terry Tallent (Linda); and several nieces and nephews. Frank was born in Tellico Plains, Tennessee on February 7, 1946. He is preceded in death by his dear wife, Pearl Tallent (married 52 years) and his parents Frank B. Tallent and Reba (Stamey) Tallent, as well as six other siblings.

Frank was a long haul truck driver before becoming self-employed for 33 years as a General Contractor. He enjoyed carpentry work and was always ready and willing to help others.

A funeral to honor and remember the life of Frank Tallent Sr. will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown, Delaware. A time of visitation will take place from 10:00am to 11:00am, with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Hebron Church Cemetery in Georgetown, Delaware.
