Edna M. Lawrence

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our Mother, Edna Mae Lawrence. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded with the love and care of her family.

Edna is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stewart and her husband, John; her son, Bernard Michael Cary, her son, John A. Cary who preceded her in death, and his wife Julie Cary.

She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jennifer Cassell, Glenn Wagner Jr. who preceded her in death, John Cary Jr., Jenna Arthur, and Christopher Cary. Edna was also blessed with 10 great-grandchildren, who brought her tremendous joy and pride.

Though she is no longer with us, Edna's legacy lives on through the family and friends she loved so dearly and the countless memories they shared together.

Her spirit, character, heart, humorous antics, and everlasting influence will remain in the hearts of her loved ones and friends forever.

She is well known for the 29 years she worked at Johnny’s Family Restaurant in Pasadena, MD until retiring at the age of 84. Serving the locals and her favorite folks brought her so much joy. She will always be remembered there fondly. 

A privately-hosted Celebration of Life will be planned for family and friends.
