Obituary

Diane Lynn (Carberry) Reynolds, 48

MILTON, Del – Diane Lynn (Carberry) Reynolds passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2025, at Bayhealth Sussex Campus, with her family by her side.

Diane was born in Vineland, NJ and spent her childhood and young adult life in Millville, NJ. She later met the love of her life, Ben Reynolds, III, and having the soul of a traveler, a cross-county trek was planned from the East Coast to the West and back, so they could marry in Las Vegas on February 29, 2008. After their return from Las Vegas, Diane and Ben made their home in Delaware.

Diane loved to travel and always looked forward to vacations and new adventures. She worked for many years securing the import and export of antiquities. Diane was focus driven and self-taught, very knowledgeable in the field of antiques. As times evolved, Diane moved to the online forums of social media, EBAY and later, Fiver, operating as Spicy Rocking Chair. Never wanting to be in the spotlight, she enjoyed working behind the scenes. She also loved teaching others how to be successful on the online forums and enjoyed designing websites.

Diane is survived by her husband, Benjamin M. “Ben” Reynolds, III; one son, Benjamin M. Reynolds, IV, both of Milton, Del; her parents, Kenneth J. and Karen M. Carberry; one sister, Pam Stidham (Albert, Sr.); nieces, Elizabeth Stidham Bevill (Jeremy), Abigail Stidham (Eric Schmeelk), Sierra Stidham; one nephew, Albert Stidham, Jr. (Erica); and a great niece, Everly Rose Bevill, all of New Jersey. Diane also leaves behind a large extended family of Carberry’s and Reynolds’, as well as friends that she held dear in both Delaware and New Jersey.

To honor Diane’s request there are no formal ceremonies scheduled at this time.
