David Kyle Joseph Biggs, passed away at Bayhealth Sussex hospital on April 24, 2025, at the age of 32. Born on April 23, 1993, in Philadelphia, PA, David's journey was one marked by a love that touched everyone around him.
David graduated in 2014 from Sussex Consortium in Lewes, DE, and attended the Delaware Mentor Day Program in Millsboro, DE.
Known for his profoundly loving nature, David had a remarkable ability to care deeply for others. His giving spirit was reflected in everything he did, bringing joy and warmth to those fortunate enough to know him. He radiated positivity and had an infectious love for life, embracing every moment and finding beauty in the little things like dancing and balloons.
David was a resident of a beautiful and loving group home in Georgetown, DE, through Delaware Mentor, where he thrived in an environment filled with compassion and support. The friendships he cultivated there were a testament to his ability to connect with others on a meaningful level.
He is survived by his devoted and loving parents, Tim and Valerie (Tillman) Biggs, who provided him with unconditional love and support throughout his life. David also leaves behind his adoring siblings: Erik, Joshua, Daniel, Jonathan, and Matthew, who were not just brothers to him, but also lifelong friends. His sister, Katie Kaelin, along with her husband Matt from Voorhees NJ, and his sister Haylee Biggs, will forever hold a dear place in his life.
He was preceded in death by his loving Grandmom and Grandpop Biggs; and his beloved PopPop, Tom Tillman, who surely welcomed him with open arms and loving calling out "Davey".
David's life was filled with the love of family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of David on May 4, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Amvets Post 2, located at 32592 Long Neck Rd, Millsboro, DE.
