Dale Hammond, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on March 26, 1950, Dale led a life marked by dedication and support for his family and friends.
Dale spent more than thirty-five years employed at Demco, where he served as a foreman and machine operator. His commitment to his work reflected his steady and reliable.
Dale found his greatest joy in the company of his loved ones. A devoted husband to Nancy Hammond, he cherished his time at home and always prioritized his family’s happiness and well-being. Together with Nancy, Dale enjoyed many evenings at Milford Bowling Lanes, where they bowled side by side as members of the local league, creating lasting memories. Those close to Dale will remember his love for watching the Vikings play football and cheering on the Baltimore Orioles.
Dale was a homebody at heart, taking comfort in the quiet moments of everyday life. Despite his reserved nature, he was very generous and ready to help others in times of need. He enriched the lives of all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Nancy Hammond; his daughter, Tracy Coudriet, and son-in-law, Jim; his son, Dale Hammond Jr.; his granddaughter, Ashley Rivera (Jordan); his great-grandchildren, Mya Rivera and Ezra Rivera. Dale’s enduring legacy of love and support will continue through each member of his family.
Dale is preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hammond; his mother, Gertrude Kenton; and his brothers, Wayne Hammond and Lawrence "Buster" Hammond, whose memories he always held close.
Dale Hammond’s life was filled with quiet strength, devotion, and generosity. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
