Charlene Leslie Bury, a beloved wife, mother, sibling, and friend, passed away suddenly on November 11, 2025. Born on October 30, 1964, in Youngstown, Ohio, Charlene dedicated her life not only to her family but also to her successful career as a real estate professional. She was a dedicated realtor with Re/Max and a member of the Kent County Association of Realtors, guided by a genuine love for helping others find a place they could call home in Delaware.
Charlene's profound love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She cherished her husband, Thomas Bury and was a proud mother to her three sons: Brandon Bury and his fiancé, Corrine; Trent Bury and his wife, Jill; and Cole Bury and his wife, Hanna. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Family gatherings held a special place in Charlene’s life, and she loved using her artistic talents to make them beautiful. She had a natural eye for decoration and was especially known for the way she transformed her home for the holidays. Her gift for painting helped her capture the beauty she found in everyday life, and she found comfort and calm in tending to her garden.
Charlene is survived by her siblings, Chuckie, Cindy, Cheryl, and Clayton. She is also survived by her father, Charles Achey. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Achey and sister Colleen.
Charlene's legacy is one of unwavering love, artistic expression, and dedication to family and community. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
