Catherine Sue couch 1957 - 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine who departed this life on April 6th 2026 in Georgetown Delaware.

Born on June 9th 1957 in Montgomery, Maryland. She is preceded in death by her dad Jackie Rae Shriver Sr. Mother Georgia Pauline Tetlow Shriver also brother Arthur Raymond Shriver

She is survived by sister Barbara Goundry, brother Jackie Rae Shriver Jr. Mother-in-law Ann Couch son Joseph Davis Sr. Daughter-in-law Karen Kelley adopted son Howard Irvin Bailey Jr. Grandson Joseph Davis Jr granddaughter's Andreya Nicole Kelley Alexis Victoria Sanchez and Mackenzie Elizabeth Kelley. And great-grandkids Nylaya Swartley Lira Swartley and Rylan Greening.

Her most precious time was time spent with her late husband Scott Couch. They both enjoyed spending time together and taking rides on their bikes.

Catherine was recently retired from Mountaire Poultry in Millsboro Delaware where she was a Weigh Master. She worked 28 hard years there while in retirement she was enjoying her time at home spending with family especially time with her grandson Rylan every other weekend his favorite thing was for us to go for a walk down the road and back as he would stop on the way back to pick Nanny flowers. She also loved spending time with her best friend Sarah who always checked in on her. She loved Family, freedom, and flowers. If you didn't know she was Hard as nails, which by the way loved them long ass nails did by her girl Dee.

Just rest assured she is at a place of peace and reunited with her husband once again where she will be looking down upon us with love and smiles on her face.

A celebration of life will be held at 19365 McKenzie Court Lincoln, Delaware 19960 May 9th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
