Carol A. Moore, born on March 15, 1948, in Milford, Delaware, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Lincoln, Delaware, on May 8, 2025. A devoted mother and grandmother, she will be remembered for her unwavering love and support for her family, particularly her two grandchildren, whom she regarded as her proudest accomplishments.
Carol dedicated a significant part of her life to work alongside her husband in their powdercoating business. After taking a step back from work to care for her granddaughter, she continued to serve her community through her role in the Milford School District cafeteria. Her contributions to the lives of the children she served exemplified her nurturing spirit and commitment to the well-being of others.
A member of Avenue United Methodist Church in Milford, Carol’s faith played a central role in her life, guiding her in her interactions with family, friends, and the community at large. Outside of her professional endeavors, Carol had a passion for Delmar GoKart racing, where she was active in scoring and timing, showcasing her enthusiasm for the sport and her ability to engage in lively pursuits.
Carol is survived by her sons, Michael Allen Reynolds and his wife Lisa, John Bobby Moore, and James Scott Moore. She cherished the moments spent with her granddaughter, Jennifer Reynolds, and her grandson, Trevor Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jeanette (Robinson) Williams, and her beloved husband, Ralph Moore, who passed in 2007.
A viewing will be held on May 19, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Berry-Short Funeral Homes in Milford. Interment will take place at Milford Community Cemetery at 2:00 PM. Carol's warmth and kindness will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew her.
