Betty Jean Healy, born on May 6, 1950, in Steubenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 4, 2025. She was 75.

Throughout her life, Betty established herself as a skilled bookkeeper and a cab driver. She was proud to be a founder and partner in a Maryland taxi company, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit. Additionally, she was a property owner and landlord in Milton, Delaware, contributing to her community through her work.

Betty had a passion for the outdoors, enjoying activities such as crabbing and fishing. Her creative side shone through her love of sewing, where she found joy and fulfillment.

In addition to her parents, Burton Eugene and JoAnn (Bright) Westfall; Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Sandra.

Betty leaves behind her husband, Michael Healy; her son, Travis Land of Milton; and her two brothers, Brett Sutor of Washington, D.C., and Donald Sutor of Milton.

Her memory will be cherished by those who knew and loved her.

A time of visitation will be held from 12:00pm to 1:00pm on Monday, August 11, 2025 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Delaware. The interment will be private.
