Bernice M. Jackson

Bernice M. Jackson, 91, formerly of Dover, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford. She was born in Georgetown on February 25, 1929 to Harley and Effie (nee Fleetwood) Wilson. She served her country for 20 years with the U.S. Air Force, reaching the rank of Major, working as a nurse. She served in many locations, including Vietnam, but her favorite tour was in the Philippines. Bernice is survived by her brother, Harley Wilson; and her niece, Maria Hammond, both of Georgetown. No formal services will be held.
