Beatrice May Moore Pearson, 95, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026. A lifelong resident of Sussex County, Delaware, she graduated from Millsboro High School in 1949 and retired from NCR in 1982.

Beatrice loved traveling with her husband, Clifton T. Pearson, in their motorhome, and together they traveled to all 50 states. She was a woman of strong faith who loved her Jesus dearly and was a member of The Waters Edge Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nettie Viola Megee McCabe Eather Jones and Frederick Charles Eather; her husband, Clifton T. Pearson; sisters Joyce Dickerson and June Eather; and half brother Roland McCabe.

She is survived by her sister, Norma Sherwood of Georgetown; children Bill (Judy) Moore of Houston, Nancy Abbate of Houston, Bob (Susan) Moore of Greenwood, Lisa (Mark) Fischer of Lewes, and Ricky (Judi) Moore of Greenwood; grandchildren Travis, Missy, Matt, Justin, Blake, David, Kara, Ryan, and Jeremy; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Beatrice leaves behind a family who loved her deeply and will carry her memory for generations.

Services will be held at Short Funeral Services in Georgetown, Delaware on Friday, October 2nd. Viewing will be at 12:00 p.m., with the funeral service following at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery.
