Ann Mariner Couch

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann who departed this life on September 30th 2026 in Georgetown, Delaware. 

Born on August 6th 1937 in Bridgeville, Delaware. She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Hazel Mariner, her brother Ted Mariner, her husband George Couch, and her son Scott Couch. 

She is survived by son Wade Couch and wife Sally, granddaughter Casey Atkins and husband Joshua, granddaughter Candy Couch and wife Heidi Reinig, and great grandson Ian Gigante. 

She enjoyed spending her time with her Red Hat Society, AARP luncheons and the Georgetown Historical Society as well as meeting with her lady friends at McDonald’s. She loved family, friends, flowers, birds, and most importantly earrings. 

She enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars and NASCAR racing. 

Rest assured she is at peace and reunited with her husband dancing the jitterbug. 

A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery, 26808 Dupont Blvd, Millsboro, Delaware 19966, Saturday October 10th 2026 at 11:00 a.m. All who want to attend are welcome. 

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Georgetown Historical Society.
