Myrna Gonzalez

GEORGETOWN – Myrna Gonzalez passed away unexpectedly following a brief illness on Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Christiana Medical Center. Myrna was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Life brought her to Georgetown where she worked for several years as a daycare and preschool teacher. Myrna was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Gonzalez Colon in 2013. She is survived by her two daughters, Crystal Gonzalez and Margicilia Gonzalez; her companion Santiago Zunun Roblero; several siblings (both here in the United States, as well as, Puerto Rico); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, December 13, 2021 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market Street, Georgetown. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Union Cemetery in Georgetown, Del.
