Larry David Mccarty

Larry David McCarty passed away from cancer at the age of 53 Thursday, April 9, 2020 at 6:10p.m. in Lewes, while surrounded by his loved ones. He was born April 14, 1966, in The Great Lakes Hospital at Great Lakes Naval Base, Ill. David was an Eagle Scout with Troop 1 in Lewes, and graduated from Cape Henlopen High School in 1985. He was a chef for 20 years, and his last job was at the Rose & Crown where he was the general manager. He was an ordained minister and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He survived by his mother Patricia McCowan; brother James McCarty married to Jessica; niece Sabrina McCarty; nephew Ian McCarty married to Miranda, and their three daughters, Rowan, Aveline and Elanor; extended family Victoria Nelson; and finally his beloved cat Snarky.
